UCF is moving full steam ahead into 2017 recruiting.

On Wednesday, the Knights extended offers to a pair of South Florida standouts - Naytron Culpepper (Miami Carol City) and Trajan Bandy (Miami Columbus).

Culpepper, a safety, says his coach was contacted by UCF secondary coach Travis Fisher.

"Coach Fisher said the staff really liked my film," Culpepper said. "I've heard about the new coaching staff. They're going to bring something new to the table."

Culpepper added that he was friends with a couple Miami players UCF just signed - Eric Mitchell and Bryon Brown.

"We work out together from time to time," Culpepper said.

He's hoping to visit UCF later this spring or summer. Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU and Syracuse are among the other early offers for Culpepper.

Bandy is a four-star prospect and currently rated the No. 15 cornerback in the nation. His early offer list is already quite extensive.
